How the fillable controls work

01

Text fields

Type directly into the fillable field area. Text uses a fixed readable size rather than shrinking indefinitely.

02

Checkboxes

Square controls are used where more than one option may apply. Select every relevant option.

03

Radio buttons

Round controls are used for exclusive choices. Selecting one option replaces the other choice in that group.

When a field needs more space: use concise operational wording. If important information is substantially longer than the field can comfortably display, attach a separate note or supporting document rather than forcing excessive text into the box.

Save and print safely

  1. Choose A4 or US Letter and work from one size consistently.
  2. Keep the original folder untouched and make a working copy before entering real information.
  3. Use a repeatable filename such as ClientName_FormName_Date.pdf.
  4. Save and reopen important completed records before sending or printing them.
  5. For paper use, check print preview and use Actual Size / 100% when the printer supports the selected paper size; use Fit only when printer margins require it.

PDF reader and compatibility guidance

Adobe Acrobat Reader desktop is recommended for the most consistent fill, save and print behavior. Browser and mobile PDF viewers can behave differently. If fields look or behave unexpectedly, download the PDF, open it in Acrobat Reader desktop, save a local working copy and test again.

The delivered files are professional fillable PDFs. Canva or Word source files are not part of the toolkit.

Privacy and security

Completed forms can contain addresses, emergency contacts, veterinary details, access information and other client or pet data. Store and share completed records securely and follow the privacy requirements that apply to your business and location.

Keep access information separate from the weekly schedule.

Forms 08 and 09 may contain sensitive home-access or key information and should be stored securely. Form 24 intentionally excludes door, alarm and access-code fields so a visible weekly schedule does not become an access credential sheet.

Troubleshooting

Fields look different in my browser

Download the file and test it in Adobe Acrobat Reader desktop. Browser previews can display interactive PDF appearances differently.

Saved information disappeared

Confirm you saved a working copy rather than a temporary browser preview. Save to a local folder, reopen the file and verify the entered values.

The printed page is scaled or clipped

Confirm the PDF version matches your paper size, review print preview and use Actual Size / 100% when supported.

Can the invoice, receipt, income, expense or mileage forms calculate automatically?

No. They are manual PDF records and contain no formulas, macros or automatic bookkeeping calculations.

License and scope

The toolkit is licensed for use by the purchaser within their own business. The files may not be resold, redistributed, shared with third parties, publicly uploaded or repackaged for sale.

Administrative templates, not professional advice. The toolkit does not provide legal, accounting, tax, financial or veterinary advice and does not guarantee business results. The terms and policy acknowledgments are not certified electronic-signature systems. Adapt documents to local requirements and use qualified professional or dedicated e-signature/contract services when appropriate.
